The Brazilian national team, led by coach Tite, is preparing to face the Swiss national team, next Monday, in the second round of the 2022 World Cup, which is currently being held in Qatar.

The Brazilian national team loses Danilo and Neymar da Silva to the Swiss national team, after the duo suffered ankle injuries during the last Serbia match.

According to the Brazilian newspaper “Globosport”, Tite does not want to provide the Swiss national team with information about the starting line-up that will play the match.

And she added, “Although the information is hidden, Titi is currently preferring between Eder Militao and Dani Alves, so that one of them participates in the right-back position.”

And the Brazilian newspaper added: “Eder Militao offers more defensive power, while Dani Alves (39 years old) has more attacking power.”

And she continued: “With regard to Neymar, the main alternatives are the entry of Rodrigo instead of him, or Lucas Paqueta advancing behind the attackers while making room for the payment of Fred or Bruno Guimarães in the midfield next to Casemirotiti, the coach of the Brazil national team, that the star Neymar da Silva participated in an injury without his knowledge. In Serbia’s last meeting, which the Seleção defeated (2-0), in the first round of the group stage of the “Qatar 2022” World Cup.

Tite said in the press conference before the next match against Switzerland: “Neymar was injured before the meeting with Serbia, and I was not aware of this matter. I repeat, I had no knowledge that he was injured.”

He added, “I received the information during the match. He told us that he was in pain, but he tried to overcome this pain in order to play. The pain was in his ankle. He played 11 minutes well, but there was a strong mistake against him and it became clear after that that he was injured.”

And he continued: “We are a team that has a history and a philosophy in playing football, and when we feel that there is pressure being exerted on us, we do not change our way of playing, because even under pressure we must perform as usual, and therefore I will not change the positions of the players.”

And Tite added, “I consider that I made a mistake in the case of Danilo. We should have provided the alternative. Danilo and Neymar are great and make sacrifices for the team. What I know is that they will play in the World Cup.”

And he added, “Medically, I cannot talk about the details of when Neymar and Danilo will return. We have a list of 26 players who should be ready to play.”

Tite concluded his remarks, saying: “Brazil relies entirely on all talents, including Neymar, as well as the physical and football capabilities of the team. We have to focus on handling the error. Sometimes there is a focus on a specific player, and this reality we have to stop.”
